The Solid Waste Advisory Commission advises and makes recommendations to the Mayor and City Council regarding new or amended rules, regulations, policies, and fees relate to the City’s solid waste collection system. The Commission shall consist of a minimum of 5 members but not more than 9 members. Terms are three years with the exception of the youth member who serves one year. Meetings are held at 4:00 pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Council Chambers at Meridian City Hall. Members typically serve an average of 2 hours per month
